Curious George Birthday Party!

I love a good themed birthday party! Some may say I go a little crazy, but parties are something I’m just OCD about! The kids will only be little for so long and I just love putting in all the little details. A themed and detailed party doesn’t mean it has to be expensive. I have done all of the boys parties relatively cheap and most at our own home. Since we are starting to think about what to do for Nathan’s 4th birthday party I thought I’d share some of our past parties, starting with his first birthday. For this theme we picked Curious George.

Curious George has always been a favorite of mine. This theme was so easy and fun! For some reason I don’t have a ton of pictures from this party but here are some of the decorations and Birthday boy!

One of my favorite things was the banana split bar, the kids had a lot of fun with this.

I made banana chocolate chip cupcakes with cream cheese icing and yellow cake with chocolate frosting that I turned into monkeys πŸ™‚ I used mini vanilla wafers for the nose and ears! cupcakes

Another fun idea I found on pinterest was to have everyone sign a Curious George book. I just typed up my own wording and placed in a frame I already had.

Last but not least, the party favors. I bought the popcorn bins from Dollar Tree as well as the coloring books and Curious George gummies. I also included a small pack of crayons and a banana of course πŸ™‚

Hope some of this helps you plan a fun Curious George’s party for your little one!
